Dr. Rosemare Kurtz is a licensed psychologist specializing in neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults.

She holds a Ph.D. in School Psychology from Columbia University and completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at Northwell Health  to obtain a specialization in neuropsychology. Her diverse experience spans across academic medical centers, schools, and community clinics, where she has honed her skills in assessing and supporting children and young adults with various needs.

With 8 years of professional practice conducting assessments, Dr. Kurtz has vast experience evaluating a wide range of concerns, including ADHD, autism-spectrum disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, learning disabilities, language disorders, and intellectual challenges, as well as the emotional and behavioral difficulties often associated with these conditions.

Her advanced knowledge of the NYC school systems, combined with her ability to navigate school services, attend formal proceedings, and collaborate with educational administrators, uniquely positions her to advocate and support families in obtaining the best outcomes for their children.

A initial consultation to discuss your goals and tailor the evaluation approach.

Clinical Interview
Detailed clinical interview to understand history, concerns, goals. We will listen, gather data.

Comprehensive Testing
If applicable we conduct a blind school observation. An extensive custom battery of gold-standard tests typically conducted over two 4 hour sessions to evaluate cognitive, academic, and social-emotional profiles.

Report & Recommendations
Our detailed report includes clear findings, diagnostic impressions, and practical recommendations, typically delivered within 4 weeks of completion of testing

Feedback Session
We discuss results in depth and collaborate with you to create a personalized plan—whether for home, school, or work, or personal life.

Follow-up and additional meeting
We remain available for follow questions and attendance at school or other stakeholder meetings as needed
